When you receive your multi-channel remote with your shades, we have already programmed the shades to the remote. It is necessary to assign the shades to the channels you want them to operate on before you can control them from the remote. The shades are listed in the remote: Shade 1, Shade 2... etc. It is first necessary to determine which shade number on the remote corresponds to each window. They may not necessarily be in order.


PREMIUM MULTI CHANNEL REMOTE CHANNEL ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS


Section A. Identifying shades

  1. Press and hold the menu/right button until the menu appears.
     
  2. Select CHANNEL by pressing and releasing the menu button.

  1. Start with Shade 1 (there will be an arrow to the left indicating which shade is currently selected.)  
  2. Press and hold the menu/right button until a check mark appears to the right of the shade.
    Note: If you press and release the menu/right button the remote will change channels. Press and release the left or right button on the remote to change channels.
     
  3. The shade will jog when the check mark appears. Notate the window position of the shade that jogged on the last page of the owner’s manual.

      
     
  4. Go back into the menu by pressing and holding the menu/right button until the menu appears.
     
  5. Select CHANNEL by pressing and releasing the menu button.
     
  6. Remove the check mark from Shade 1 by holding the menu/right button until the checkmark disappears.
         
  7. Arrow down to Shade 2.
     
  8. Press and hold the menu/right button until a check mark appears to the right of the shade.
     
  9. Notate the window position of the shade that jogged on the last page of the owner’s manual.
     Repeat this process until each shade has been identified.

Section B. Assigning channels once all shades are identified.
 

  1. Select the channel you want to assign the shade to by scrolling left or right.
     
  2. Press and hold the menu/right button until the menu appears.
     
  3. Select the shade you want to assign to the channel by scrolling up or down
    Note: If you press and release the menu/right button the remote will change channels. Press and release the left or right button on the remote to change channels.
          
  4. Press and hold the menu/right button until a check mark appears to the right of the shade.
    The shade will jog.
     

Repeat steps 12 through 15 for each shade.
