How Do I Add a User To My Tahoma by Somfy App?

1. Open the Tahoma by Somfy app, then click on the three dots at the bottom right of the screen, then click on “User management”. 
2. Click on “+” button to add a user. Choose which type of user you want to create (administrator, resident or guest). Different users have access to different functions. 
   
   1. Administrator – Equipment management, adding & removing equipment, launching the scenes, creating and deleting scenes, creation and management of users, management of interventions from professional 
   2.  Resident – Equipment management, adding & removing equipment, launching the scenes, creating and deleting scenes 
   3. Guest – Able to control assigned equipment 
      • If creating a guest user, you will need to select the equipment/devices you want the guest to be able to control 
3.  Enter a name for the user, then click “Next”. 
   
4.  A green check mark should appear with the message “User created”.  Click “Share invitation” at the bottom of the screen, then choose how to share the invitation.  The new user will click the link sent to them to complete the user creation.
