Why is my Ysia Remote Not Controlling Associated Equipment?

Modified on Fri, 8 May at 1:08 PM

If the Ysia remote is not controlling the associated shades, please check the following:

  1. Log into the Tahoma Pro app and select “Access an active Tahoma Switch, then select “Yes”, then enter the PIN code for the Tahoma or select “Scan the Tahoma QR code” at the bottom of the screen.

  1. Select “Zigbee controls”, then select the remote that is experiencing issues.

  1. Confirm the last reported battery level of the remote.  If it is less than 50%, replace the batteries.

  1. The remotes do not update battery status in real time.  They update from the last time it was used.

  1. Select “Associated equipment” and confirm the shades that the remote should be operating are assigned to desired channels

  1. If the shades still do not operate, delete the remote from the system via the Tahoma Pro app and reset the remote by pressing and holding the programming button on the back of the remote until the LED on the front flashes green > red, green >red, green > red.  On the third red blink the programming button can be released.

  1. Add the remote back into the system via the Tahoma Pro app.
