Follow this two-step process to replace or add a new single-channel remote to operate a group of shades. Watch the videos below, or follow the step-by-step instructions that appear below each video.
STEP 1 OF 2: Remove the Current Pairing Between Your Shades and Remotes
Before programming the single-channel remote, you'll need to remove the current pairing between your shades and remotes. Do this for every shade and remote you want to include in the group. You can control up to 12 shades with a single multi-channel remote.
Note: Pressing and holding the back of the remote until the LED stops flashing can be easier than the "triple tap" mentioned in the video, and has the same effect.
STEP 1 OF 2: Remove the Current Pairing Between Your Shades and Remotes
- On the remote, Quickly press the program button on the back three times in rapid succession.
The remote LED should alternate amber. - On the shade, press and hold the program button for 7 seconds. When the shade jogs, release the button.
STEP 2 OF 2: Re-Pair Your Shades and Remotes
Do this for every shade that you included in the group so that the shades will respond to their individual remotes as well as the group remote.

Pair the group remote with the shade group:
- On the group remote, quickly press and release the program button on the back twice rapidly.
The remote LED will flash amber and green. - On one of the shades in the group, press and hold the program button for 3 seconds. When the LED flashes green, release the button.
The shade will jog once, and the shade LED will turn off. The shade is now paired with the remote! - Repeat steps 1–2 for each shade in the group.
Pair individual remotes with individual shades:
- On the group remote, quickly press and release the program button on the back twice.
The remote LED will flash amber and green.
On the individual remote, press and hold the program button on the back for 3 seconds. When the LED flashes green, release the button.
The LEDs on the both remotes will flash green and then turn off.On the individual remote, press and release the program button on the back.
The remote LED will flash green.On the shade you want to pair the individual remote with, press and hold the program button for 3 seconds. When the LED flashes green, release the button.
The LED on the individual remote will turn green, and the shade will jog. Both of your remotes will now control the shade!Repeat steps 1–4 for each shade you want to control with an individual remote.
NOTE: If you don't press any buttons for 10 seconds while you're making these adjustments, the remote will time out. If that happens, just start the process over.
