If the shade does has stopped working or does not work from the app, confirm the following


  • The shade has sufficient or good working power supply. You can manually operate the shade using the shade manual button to run the shade.   If the shade does run OK, and the shade LED does not give you a low battery status indicator should indicate the power supply is OK
  • Ensure that the shade Antenna is not missing, damaged, broken and/or is coiled up behind the shade. You can try adjusting the shade antenna to see if that resolves the communication issue
  • Ensure that the Gateway is online, confirm that other shades are operating OK from the app. Reload the app and then navigate to the Gateway and account main page, the Gateway should show ‘Online’. If Offline, refer to the troubleshooting topic, “My Gateway is showing offline in the app”
  • Check the Gateway LED, if the Gateway is online and all is OK, the LED should be OFF. Otherwise, if the Gateway LED has activity, refer to the troubleshooting topic “My Gateway is showing offline in the app” and refer to the section that matches your Gateway LED activity
  • Try moving the Gateway closer to the shade, to see if that resolves the communication issue
